Hi

I want to use non English text and so I need to understand what is the icharset value in dbSetTextFont(char* szFont, in icharset).

Please help.

I can see that if I put in 1 then some characters OK but still get some problems, is it simply 0 or 1 or are there other values??

Hi again

OK I think I found the solution.
It is straight forward when you know how, as ever!
The help file in DGK does not have the Principles section and so to help others with a similar problem I have pasted the relevant bit here.

Only problem I have now is deciding if a language is say baltic or eastern european!

Below is a reference listing of the international character codes you would use
with the SET TEXT FONT command:

DEFAULT_CHARSET 1
SYMBOL_CHARSET 2
SHIFTJIS_CHARSET 128 (Japanese)
HANGEUL_CHARSET 129 (Korean)
HANGUL_CHARSET 129
GB2312_CHARSET 134 (Simplified Chinese)
CHINESEBIG5_CHARSET 136 (Traditional Chinese)
OEM_CHARSET 255
JOHAB_CHARSET 130
HEBREW_CHARSET 177
ARABIC_CHARSET 178
GREEK_CHARSET 161
TURKISH_CHARSET 162
VIETNAMESE_CHARSET 163
THAI_CHARSET 222
EASTEUROPE_CHARSET 238
RUSSIAN_CHARSET 204
MAC_CHARSET 77
BALTIC_CHARSET 186
