Hi from another Newbie,
I'm not bad on programming, and I can design objects more or less, but I cannot find any explanation of how I can design my own bitmaps to texture the objects. Any pointers or advice?

Tough...I really don't know how but I do know this: some model creation programms you paint the 3D model then and there...when your done painting it, it might just have an export texture option...

Thanks TGWDNGHN. I'm trying to keep it simple, and avoid model creation programmes, as I'm only creating simple models (boxes, generally). I'm getting a vague idea from the included bmp's how they map on to the surfaces of a model, but I can't get it right.
Any other help appreciated!
