Looks nice but WHOAW 20 dollars for a single gun? Maybe for a pack of 15 guns I'd pay 20 but geez, 20 for a single gun is asking a bit much, on these forums anyway.

Yeah for that gun I'd say 3.00
If it had hands I would say $20.00 is perfectly good.

Even with hands it'd be much, because he's selling it to everyone. Maybe if it was for one person, okay, but to resell a gun for $20? Thats a lot.

I wouldnt buy without a hand otherwise its just a gun floating, as on price, its expensive for hobbyists, but not for small indies, but they would prefer a pack, not just one gun, 5 or 6 guns for 100 usd isnt too bad, not for me anyway, but I am, Billy Big Pants.

That's talking EAI quality, but this looks cartoony and it isn't a complex model.

Sorry buddy but most people on these forums are under 18 and aren't gonna pay $20 for a single gun when they can buy a pack of 17 commercial-quality weapons for the same price. You're gonna have to lower the price if you want anyone to buy this.

And they wont pay for something you are giving out for free to the kiddie winkies, either way, hobbyists will find it too expensive, and indies will not pay a high cost for something that's given out freely, I can outsource to someone from a developing economy to knock me up an original character for 60 and a gun for 20, Id bite the bullet on higher costs for stock models, but not if they are given out freely, not a chance, afraid you have messed the whole thing up, call it a learning experience.

If you're gonna sell that work for $20, at least make sure the texture isn't stretching on the handle for god's sake.

LOL mixed signals.

I personally agree with EAI. I don't want to pay for this, since I don't have a use for it in a game, but I am very much a hobbyist and would like to see it in action. So I like your plan.

Great model, you have a great feel for scifi/anime type stuff.

I too agree with EAI. Haveing the free option for noncommercial is a great way to go about it. If someone is seriously going to make a commercial game then I don't think they would object to paying $20 for a weapon, in fact I think it's more than reasonable. It's still a friendly price for a commercial project wich should have a budget to spend.

Freebooters ahoy, I bet you like the deal. Stretched textures no hand, 20 usd no thanks, the market will decide the price.

Regardless of what the OP is selling (is he?) his gun for....

....he should get a little more respect from everybody here since he allready gave lots of quality models away for free.

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

Just to clarify (because being sick is making my head fuzzy), my point was that if he wants to give the stuff away for free, he shouldn't let some random person push him around via email. I'd like to know who it is and mods might as well since that could be considered harassment. If someone is losing major sales because of the availability of free media, they need to up their game and make sure their stuff is worth paying money for or seriously consider selling elsewhere if their work is good enough.

If Neodelito wants to sell his work, then I totally agree with Fallen One (he tends to be pretty insightful and on-target with indie. dev. issues). Personally, I hate media released for non-commercial use. It becomes a waste of hard drive space and a hassle to sort. And really, I'd think he wants to give these free because they seem to be speed-model and test exercises (though quite good). If he legitimately wants to sell work later, nobody should be stopping him from giving free stuff now to build an audience. But if the non-commercial free/commercial-paid scheme is just to appease some random person; tell them to take a hike because that's totally school-yard behavior. I don't think any reputable sellers in this community would even think of doing such a thing in the first place (makes me wonder how much random hate-mail Cosmic Prophet gets!).

I thought they were working in PBUM. Maybe it's for need of a properly configured HUD shader.

The VWEAP isn't working. If I put it on anything it's floating in mid-air. The animations for the gun is also a little messed up. The idle animation is too active.
