I just really need something that can do this. I got my friend into 3D modeling, and he wants to make new races for Morrowind with his own meshes, so I need to find what format it supports, and a converter that will convert it to this format.

I've been outcasted from the public's society.
Why must I be outcasted here too.

Noone knows what software will export the required format?

You can get it right from www.morrowind.com, but the exporters only work with 3d Studio Max 3, 4, or 5. You don't need to know how to operate the program to export properly however, just load the mesh up and export. Good luck .

(I hope your friend knows how to properly animate his heads, or his races won't blink or open their mouths when talking.)

Oh, and if you need any other tips, I'm a regular at the Morrowind modding forums and can do a few tricks in the Construction Set, so don't fail to ask .

Edit-- by the by, the format is .nif, and textures are typically .tga or .dds files, .bmp textures are very rarely used in Morrowind world because the engine causes trouble with them on some video cards.
