Newcomers DBPro Corner / Create Animated Sprite Blue Screen

What causes this? I can simply CREATE ANIMATED SPRITE and not even use it for anything and when I display some things the screen goes blue. Im basically just trying to go to sub routines that display text, and then return to a loop animating the sprite.

Can anyone exsplain what these two lines of code actually do?

It has fixed my problem, but i want to no what they do instead of just noing it does somthing.

Highlight them in the editor and press the F1 key.
