Hi all!

I have made a simple structure in carthography shop, saved it as an .x model. Managed to load it i DBPRO. But how can I make it work as an entity in FPSC?

if its an entity just put the .x file in a folder called what ever you want and put the folder in the entity folder, then go find an entity similar to yours and copy the .fpe file paste that in the folder where you put your .x file now you have to take the texture that you used for your model and copy and paste that in with your .x file now go back to your .fpe file and open it up where it says model put the path to your model "entitybank\user\your folder name\your model name"
where it says texture put the path to your texture "entitybank\user\your folder\your texture
make sure the texture is in .TGA format or .DDS you dont want to use .JPG it doesnt work very well.

If your model is to big or to small you can change that in the scale portion of the .fpe if the rotation of the model isnt right you can change that in the fixy portion

If you want an icon to appear when you look in entitys you'll need a .bpm picture of your model 64x64 and just put that in with your model and .fpe file
you will need to change the name of course in the .fpe where it says desc= to your model name.

That should do it before you know it you'll be writing your own .fpe files
good luck and I hope this helps

lol entity maker well thats good for statics but the .fpe it generates is far from perfect for animated though I did use it at one time as well.

dig into an .fpe file of similar use and look at the assets.
