Hi there

I buyed MagicFPS to make my own entities. It works great but when I try to make door, it only offers the door which openes by pivot on side.

My game is about the current year [2010]. And I have to make a Lift [elevator]. But it lacks the original door. Can someone please quickly model a simple door like this for me? Its really simple it won't take more than 15 minutes to do it.

Before you say [Why don't you do it yourself?] I know 3DS MAX and I've MagicFPS to convert it but I don't know how to animate the door so it opens like a real lift door.

Can someone please..... give me link to a door entity that looks like the pic above or make me one?

I am 100% sure I put all the files in correct folders. also tried cleaning dbo's but still it don't work.

Check out this thread. It has a working elevator with the type of doors you're looking for. You can change the textures to suit.

Hey xplosys, you'd made a wonderful working elevator door almost exactly what Cool Dude is looking for too; I still have it in my FPSC library in fact, however upon looking for it on your site again to link him, I couldn't seem to find it anymore. Did you get rid of it?

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

You know, I seem to remember doing something like that but I don't know where it is either. I'll have a look around.

I have taken the elevator doors by rolfy and placed all the files in the proper FPSC file structure. The download is attached and I have added the install instructions to rolfy's install.txt file. Just unzip and copy the "Files" folder to your FPSC directory.

There's no use reinventing the wheel and rolfy did a great job on these doors. I have tested them on V1.15.

thanks xplosys, you did all these for me. But I like *your* doors better than it, it is exactly the door I was looking for. It was not working because I put them in wrong directory. Now its working like a charm.

Once again, your hotel elevator door is awesome! and beautifully made. Thanks again!
