I was just wondering, as I dont need this code anyways, if it is possible to move an elevator up one segment height at a time

the pgup/pgdown script works well, but is unrealistic. I thought moving it by a set height (eg 2 stories to allow for ceilings) would be possibe at all?

I think there might be a way... but it wouldn't be the best and most accurate way. You could probably have a timer start when the player presses pgup/pgdown to maybe about half a second, and then the lift would stop. The time until it stops and the speed of the lift would have to be adjusted to get the lift to stop perfectly onto a new floor. I'll try this out soon and post a script if this works.
