After my departure, I find myself bored on a Saturday afternoon and decided to mod some EAI guns from model packs 9 and 10. But, all of the guns when imported to Fragmotion, the verticies and faces are messed up (see image). Is there anyway of correcting this problem, as I am extremely eager to mod some guns.

I think you misunderstood my question. His tutorial covers how to mod a gun, which I know how to do. I am wondering why all the guns imported are messed up.

I think it was made that way... Look at the animations. If the hand never comes off the handle, you can save some pollies by fusing them together.

"And we played the first thing that came to our heads...Just so happened to be... the best song in the world...

it was the best song in the world..."

yep select the bone that has the vertices stretched then click select vertices assigned to to bone now hold control and click the vertices that are stretched this will deselect them now click assign vertices to bone and pump it up into the red now use the selct vertices tool and click on the screen anywhere this will deselect all vertices now click bone and select all unassigned vertices the vertices you deselected will light up now select the bone nearest them and click assign vertices pump it up to the red now that should fix your vert problem

Put the Gun down in FPSC and run the game, pick up the gun, and exit.
Then Import the .dbo that has been created.
If its still distorted delete the .dbo, put it in FPSC and pick up the gun, and exit.

You may have to do this a few times to get it to look good (i have never gotten a PERFECT mp9\10 import but i have gotten pretty darn close to perfect).

Hope this helps & have fun!

the .x's work best for assault rifles, the pistols however need to be .dbo'd and still when I export, they come out facing backwards.

to fenix mod!

oh, i guess i did it the long way, i deleted the arms/hands and imported the hands of another store brought weapon, deleted the skeleton from the new arms and rigged the old skeleton to the new arms, it took a while but it worked.
