How can I create my own .x files? They seem to make all the difference. I tried fiddling with thier examples but I can't make a 3D animal of my own. I am trying to create a dog but don't know where to start. The .x files display charactors that arnt on the keyboard and to my knowledge they create the motion and the coordinates of each limb in the object. Could someone tell me where I could find a tutorial on this? (Or if it's simple enough, how to make one.) Thanks!

( I have about half a year of experience with a 2d game maker program and just bought this 2 days ago no other experience.)

Do you have any type of 3d modeller program? If not, I suggest you get milkshape 3d http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ms3d/download.html which costs only $20. There are lots of link to tutorials on the site.

Whatever I did I didn't do it!

Doga is excelent for making models but in L-1 (L-2 and L-3 are sharware ) you can't make a texture fior them meaning that you'll have to make it yourself and add it in your code

But it rocks for making metalic models!

If life gives you a lemon, shove it up a water gun and squirt it into someone's eyes!
