Work in Progress

"I never understanded the base idea of the asylum..its just a home for people who are nuts, now i understand it,now that im inside,my wife was taken by dead people.. but really dead..they took me there...i warned them..that the people would come...i was wrong..they were the people...i prefer the Shortcut "Boeng" so the guards dont know what im talking about... but to my interior i say...zombies.. thats their real name..they are dead in life...life in dead...the same thing...the death is now corrupted...and my life has changed....today the asylum was abandoned... or it was yesterday?...huh...cant remember...i found a gun of a cop that was guarding my room mate who said people were wrong and killed them...what a empty head......the people has cameback....."

Addon Info:
Today i went on a school trip to "Serve the comunity" to help an old asylum by cooking dish washing... things like that..i could resist myself of looking at evry room and taking pictures of them...now i got lot of inspiration for this game...lots and lots of them..

Addon Info2:
i wont abandon decay2, the progress of this game will be slow.. but i wont abandon it

This screenshots don't look too nice. The ones with the new light color and the random entities look much better.

Keep it up!

Best,

Really nice screens, a very eerie and creepy atmosphere. Well done!

Woah... if I went to an asylm like that'd I'd have to make an FPSC game about it.

The Imperfect Sheep - making your world imperfect since 2008 - not so much of an achievement!

It's looking pretty atmospheric, I'll definitely follow it's developement, my only crit is, that it's currently only using Kravenwolf's stuff, not that it's bad, but some custom stuff would be good.

Keep it up!

It looks OK, but honestly, it's nothing I haven't seen before. It looks like most other asylum games made on the forum. Appart from the moonlight coming through the windows (That looks quite nice by the way) I'm not seeing anything that makes me want to play it. Especially seeing as it's ANOTHER zombie game. Try to come up with a fresh spin on the whole asylum niche.

Wow! Looks incredible, I love every aspect of it, except maybe you should change the blood. It doesn't look very well, with any game, unfortunately. But you're improving, and I love the level design.

Played the demo, and I must say for the most part it was actually a lot of fun. The gameplay is very linear however, without much to create diversity aside from corridor to corridor shooting and finding keys for doors; perhaps some other scripted opportunities could really benefit the game!

The atmosphere is perfect though, the lighting really compliments the scenery and the horror aspect well, and the enemy placement (while sometimes being a little obvious), isn't all that bad. In fact both times I had to fight the crawler zombies, I never saw either one coming and so that was a nice surprise that kept me on my toes for sure.

For a little level design critique, I might say remove a few of the lights from the vent (you went just a smidge over board in there), and watch out for overlapping blood overlays on the floor

Other than that, it looks to be a fantastic start. Keep it up man.

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

I watched the trailer, it's lookin' good. However, I found most of it was just murdering zombie after zombie. If you want to make is scarier, make a single encounter with a zombie at the start, but make the zombie incredibly hard to beat - perhaps fleeing is the only option. Then, you can use sound zones and scripting to scare the player into thinkin' there'll be further, dangerous encounters with the zombies. Although, the level design was very nice!

Why? I know it's up to you, but it has more balls when it's RiverSide Asylum - The Untolted. But that's my opinion.
