A simple pseudo example from memory:

void DarkGDK()
{

dbSetDispalyMode(d,x,y);

char * sFPS = dbStr( dbScreenFPS() );

}

is returning an 'invalid cruntime parameter' runtime error (0xc0000417). Anytime dbStr is called when setdisplaymode is called (or any of the similar functions) it happens. sprintf is working fine so I've been using it. Am I doing it wrong?

Nevermind. It helps to call the parameters in the right order... bit depth isn't first.
