Dark GDK / What is wrong with my sprites?!?

When I show my .png and .tga sprites on the screen, there is a white border around them. Why is it doing this?

What are you using to make your sprites?Photoshop? If it is Photoshop make sure there isn't a white background. Just use the magic wand tool select the white background cut it and delete it.

You need to set a color to be transparent.



If the background is true white.

Your signature has been erased by a mod - Please reduce it to 600x120 maximum size

I'm using Paint.net to make a .png image with transparency, rather than using a black bg as transparency . My problem is that there is an outline of 1 or 2 pixels wrapped around the bounding box of the sprite, and I can't seem to get rid of it!

Oops! ! Found the problem. Just had to turn off image rescaling. Thanks anyway!
