Is there a way to use dbFTPGetFile without it freezing the window till the object is loaded. I want it to still load the object but not freeze the window when it loads. Thanks in advance.

My knowledge of the internal networking commands are as follows: They don't work, and when they do they suck.

I would suggest grabbing a copy of DarkNet it's got some amazing functions

The only way I see you accomplishing this is to call the function on a different thread, as far as I know gdk doesnt support multithreading too good
