The number HUD Font is included in this thread.

I am working on a project where i need a killcount HUD in the left center of the players screen.

i would like the kill count script to be allow the player to get an unlimited number of kills.

from numbers 0 to 10,000 or something.

i am willing to exchange sound effects or music for this script.

Well, hopefully one day soon PB's variable system (and numeric HUD addition) will be part of the official versions, so we won't have to ask this every time and everyone may benefit from the easy scripts.

I have already given Lee permission to use any of my additions to PB in the official updates. However, I do not expect him to use everything all at once. That's just way too much code being thrown in and is liable to cause MANY things to go wrong. It would be best for him and hockeykid to implement any PB code slowly and test thoroughly. That will minimize the bugs and ensure a smooth transition, so don't expect it to happen in one big update.

I use Fenix Mod, but at the moment since the migration between PB and Fmod is currently underway, I might be switching back to PB yet again. so Ply I really appreciate the comments and suggestions everyone, much appreciated.

I hope PB as a WHOLE is not integrated into the official FPSC release because I would have spent $28 on something that would be given to us for free in the migration anyway.

You would at the very least obtain awesome PB features before they made it in the official release. Remember, official releases run slow and I'm sure once hockeykid is done with migrating with Lee, PB updates and new features will come much faster than they are now.

there is an error in the script somewhere Ply.

I tried saving the .fpi file and it brought me here

the bold is where the error brought me to.

If you are using FPI EditPad, then it doesn't know the huduservar command. You have to add it in manually.

Haven't seen this thread in a while.

Yes, zeza is correct. FPI EditPad is checking the commands against stock commands and does not recognize Mod commands. You'll need to add them yourself... or you can paste your script into Notepad and save it that way. Either way will work.

You could pull this off with the stock engine too. (v1.09 or higher)
My Cash System could be used for this, since the 6 scripts are for the variable display only. (display up to 999,999 is possible)
The reason I had to used 6 script was because the line limit made displaying large numbers impossible using only 1 script.

The only difference for this use would be incrementing the variable with a destroy script instead of the pick up scripts used by the system.
Then, each kill would increase the display by one instead of it representing cash being picked up or credited.

I'm not suggesting that you not use a mod like the others have recommended.
I'm just saying that it can be done with stock FPSC. (vanilla)
