I'm kind of new to Visual C++ but do have some knowledge in C++. I am trying to figure out how to manually install Dark GDK into Visual C++ 2010. So far what I figured out is to create it in Visual C++ 2008 and open the solution in 2010 and then I'm suppose to set path over to the library but am not sure how to do this. Does anybody know how to set the path on a project to point to a library?

Also see(which is where somebody said to point to the library)

You can't use it with 2010 ( yet ) because they use different basic library's or something like that. Stick to 2008 if you have it.

You can use it.

VC++ Directories are now project-specific.

Go to Project->[(Project Name) Properties...]->[+]Configuration Properties->[VC++ Directories]

I have gotten it to work by including VS2008 VC++ libs (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\lib), but I believe that it is an ugly workaround.

It's C++ -- linking is ugly all the time, no matter if it's a workaround or not.

Hmm, I just tried getting DGDK on VS2010 and naturally, it's not working, but i'd getting different errors than Replax. I don't have any previous versions of VS on this computer (Or anywhere within reach, really).

The errors I'm getting are as follows...

the usual Google searches yielded little help, I don't think I've ever seen IntelliSense errors before... I've done all the includes and libs that worked when I compiled this exact same code on VS2008 before the reformat...

Also, vista 64bit if it helps...

I am getting errors very similar to replax here:

After numerous Google searches, I've included just about every include and lib folder that the many denizens of the internet have mentioned:

How long will it take for TGC to release a new, compatible version of DGDK?
