I really want to have aim blur in my game. Like COD MW2:

Whe weapon is sharp, but the background is blurry. How can I apply this effect (with Project Green) and does it work in my multiplayer game (made with FPSCIP)?

You need to be more patient, no ones going to answer within the hour you post.
To do this, you need depth of field, which is possible in Project Blue. This is possible in multiplayer, i think, but it would take some effort to do.

Hope This Helps

No, it is only possible in Project blue, because of the full screen shaders. Attached is a picture of a quick test I threw together, is this what you wanted.

Hope This Helps

@zeza, I think he only wants blur on objects within say... 10 virtual "feet" of him, and the target to be clear.

Yeah,I just threw this together real quick, I didn't set any of the shader values, but you can edit it to fit.

No,Project Green does not have Full Screen Shaders so depth of field wont work.

You could technically do this with a hud, couldn't you? Just display a hud that has the edges blurred severely, only when the gun is in ironsights.

Gunn3r, I think, he means real-time DOF.

Best,

Well, it would give the illusion of real-time DOF, but not necessarily use any full screen shaders or that sort of thing. I guess I'm still thinking in workarounds and alternative routes like I've needed to for so long with FPSC.

I've been working on a depth of field shader for X9 recently.

It's not finished so wasn't intending to make an announcement just yet but it is possible with Project Blue mod.

Pic attached.

@ Gunner

I thought the same until I tested it, there's no way to blur objects behind a semi transparent gaussian blurred hud.

For some reason I read that and couldn't stop laughing. It just sounds so horrible and violent.

I know the texture is flipped, it happens when exporting from fragmotion. Is that the only thing screwed up about it? I thought I did a pretty good job

Hope This Helps
