Ah you've reminded me of an awesome boss encounter in an older game now, Timesplitters: Future Perfect! Loved that game! There was a boss just at the end of the haunted mansion level, almost exactly like your description Nickydude; if anyone here remembers that game, you should know

Please! That would be absolutely amazing! And I had no idea id spent that much time on characters for Doom 3 though, that's actually fascinating; considering the fact that the game was in development for 6 years or however long it was, it was easy to see the leap it made in games which was uncanny - the new id Tech 5 engine they'll be introducing with Doom 4 will just be out of this world
But yes, your Blade Seeker is still to this day one of my most beloved characters to use; his opening when the player comes into range is splendid, between the spinning blade and the very atmospheric robotic cry he makes.
