Hey all,

My girlfriend wants to monitor the children using software. Is there any free and/or open source solution for this? If not, is there any decent, but inexpensive, software any of you have direct experience with? Looking for keylogging and url logging functionality.

It's basically because our kid wants to chat and she doesn't really want to allow that unless it can be monitored.

Thanks!

I'm sure there are various commercial apps available for this but there are also many free ones available. Unfortunately they have a tendency to be used by hackers and so I will get a bollocking for posting them here.

If you want me to link them then drop me an email.

Thanks. I've opted to use Squid proxy server and pykeylogger.

Make sure she doesn't find out, or at least let her know first.
