I have been learning how to 3D model recently and believe I have become resonably good. However I don't know how to import models with multiple textures. I have imported models with single textures, just not ones with multiple. I wish to use multiple so I can use my model in a game. I was going to take apart the model and import seperate pieces such as parts of the walk way and such to make a map in the engine. Attached are screenshots of what i had modelled incase they are needed for help. Please ignore the fire as this model was also used for a college assignment.

I would too like to know this seeing as without knowing how to do this, it makes tree magic worthless to fpsc users, meaning there should be a warning on the webpage, not compattible with fpsc!

Just leave the texture assignement blank in the FPE file and it will use the model's texture information instead of a single texture assignment.

The bad thing is that you can't use special maps for shaders because the prefix has to be one not multiple.

If you want to use shaders on them and you need a single texture, then remap the model's multiple textures into one.

The entity needs to be dynamic to use multiple textures.

I take a snapshot of my trees from tree magic, then use that for the texture on a + shaped billboard.
Less polys and still makes a decent looking tree.... (see attached image)
Nothing better than 8 poly trees to populate a tree line.

Yeah, I forget the simple things.

Some of the trees pictured are dynamic, but not because they use multiple textures, but just so I could turn the collision off for the saplings.
