i need to know how to use Joints. i need to know how to put the people in DB (yes i know, .x files) and how to animate them properly (when its moving, it walks, when its shooting, the character looks like he's shooting, etc) all help is apreciated.

u need to create a bone structure for your model, then attatch the vertices to the bones. then if u press the anim button at the bottom u can select a bones and rotate it around the joint. um il av a quick look for sum decent tutorials now.

ok these three cover most of what you need to know, i think the 3rd one is the one concerned with animating:

do all your animations and note down what frames each bit runs from (eg. frames 1-70 for the walking animation, 71,140 for the jumping animation). you will need to know these values when you play the animations in DB. anyways hope that helps
