Hey guys, so as we all know lightmapping in fpsc can take some time, but it usually worth it in the end if you have done it right.

What i am asking is because my new windows 7 computer it says its a quad core proccessor, is there something i need to enable to allow me faster lightmapping times?

Also can you tell me if this would help lightmapping times.

so lets say i have 10 lights in a room, and i set my ambience to 50 or whatever, then use a script to set the ambience to 0, will i get faster load times as well as test build times in regards to lightmapping?

If you have a way to decrease the time please post below as well, this can benifit not just me

thanks.

set thr ambience to 0 in the global script.

also, use "best for performance" in preferences.
