Im running win xp on a p4 1.5ghz

I want to run a old dos game, now the game loads, I can start it, start playing it and it hits about 2000 frames per second.

I know there are software programs out there that will slow downt the computer, but I would like to know if anyone uses a decent one.

Try a 486 emulator and not an actual DOS box.
You could also adjust the refresh rate of the display in your graphics card (if you've got an nVidia one).

yes megaton, I agree with good old "percussive maintenance" once in a while! I kind of stopped tho recently because I fried my GF Ti4600 when I punched my pc squar in the jaw.

but I went out and got an GF FX 5200 Ultra - oh well
