The Darnkess Consumes (as mentioned in title, a FEAR tribute).

As most of you can tell, I am new to this place. But I will try my best to make a good impression to you all, and also try to improve my game creating skills with FPSC. So basically, if you see anything wrong that I have not already stated, feel free to tell me and I'll get to fixing it.

STORY: (Needs more structure, will add to it as I create)
ACTION/HORROR (Surprised it isn't Survival/horror just like the other 95% of FPSC games?)

You are a member of a SWAT team.
Our intel shows a possible terrorist threat from inside of an old abandoned science lab. You must investigate with your team.

As you go into the front door of the lab, the door shuts and locks behind you, leaving your team outside, and you inside... Alone.

This is where my game begins...

Key:
= Finished
= In Progress
= Not Started

Progress:
Level 1-
Level 2-
Level 3-
Level 4...

Feartures:
Custom Helmet HUD-
Iron Sights/Recoil-
Body/Legs- (Just need to make arms transparent, which doesn't seem to be working at all for me)
Custom cutscenes, made in flash-
BOSS BATTLES! (Yep, thats right, boss battles, something most FPSC games are lacking IMHO).

First Screeny: (please note I will be adding more entities in the background, aswell as enemies)

Edit: Started on the second level, again i'll do the base shape, then afterwards, add the small entities for details. I feel like this is going to be a good production...

For me atleast

Hmm... Looks fine with me.

I kinda enjoyed the tension in the first 2 screens, but in your 3th screen there are ermmm 7 entities, kinda empty

Try add more entities, and add the lights

looks a good project with a future!

Yeah, at the moment I am just adding more entities to the rooms to make them more scenic. There are supposed to be next to no lights, its an action/horror, but the screenshots do look slightly darker than ingame. There are also lights in the rooms of the screenshots, you just can't see them, I purposely went into a position like that.

The lighting looks kinda boring. It seems you used pure colours. Well, try playing with hexcodes and making interesting light colors. The areas are look a tad big, IMO, and maby there could be more entities. But only entities that fit the theme, don't just put some random crates or barrels, if they don't have a meaning to be there.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things that I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Haha don't worry, theres no crates or barrels.

I have already changed the light in the third screeny, might experiment with the other lights though and see how it turns out (and they aren't actually pure colours, I changed the colours to slightly yellow/orange, then dulled it down). But thanks for the suggestion.

EDIT: Changed the old pictures to the new ones, with entities in.

And now started progress on the second level.
