Is is possible to make a light turn on and off, for example the light stays off for around a second then flickers on, then repeats?

Because I want to make a kind of boss fight in my game, where the light goes on and off so it is hard to see where the boss is.

Also while i'm making a new thread, are you able to make the enemy strafe from side to side while moving towards you?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: When I say strafe, i mean random distances moving one side, then again random on the other side, or perhaps even teleport?
If that makes sense to anyone.

Sorry for double post, but it's been 24 hours with no reply, just thought I would bump it because it seems people have not seen it.

using a dynamic light and some scripting makes this possible I believe. but it would be hard because dynamc entities don't react to light, so the boss would stay lit up most of the time I believe.

I might have to wait for the migration for this one.

Or I copy the entity folder, to make a duplicate, then retexture darker

To answer your other question:

There is a main script entitled "strafe.FPI" and "straf10.FPI"
