Is it possible to knive like MW2, when you press "k" you will do a knive attack. I will have Project Blue soon.

I think it would work something like this (i have been away from FPSC for a while, so the codes aren't from fpsc):

OnPlayerPressKey "k"
SaveCurrentWeaponSlots "weapons.stats"
ResetPlayerWeapons
GivePlayerWeapon "gamecore/guns/.../Knife"
SetOpenWeaponSlot "1"
FireWeapon
ResetPlayerWeapons
LoadWeaponSlots "weapon.stats"

this would be possible maybe with a simple mod to the source.

thanks

Like I said, those commands are not from FPSC. And some of them I know don't exhist and would need to be coded in.

thanks

"V" is the knife button for the real CoD...

And much more easier to reach when playing with "W,A,S,D".

If you can rig your knife (change x to the correct key and you'll need to make an animation, not use 1) :

:scancodekeypressed=x:animate=1

I wouldn't reccomend it for beginners. In your weapons ''shoot'' script, as far as I know. 'x' is the key number.

@Sven. First, take your model and create the firing animation.
Save the animation and edit gunspec and set the fire animation range.
Put the script I posted above in the correct file (not sure which one, might have to be a dynamic object?).

That script is for characters. It will not work with weapons.

In order to do custom weapon animations, you will need PB.

Can't you just edit the animation in FragMotion, for example? But that would only be for the fire animation....

Yes, but you cannot call them without PB. The script you used is for entities; in order to call animations for HUD weapons you would need to set up custom gun animations.

I did a very primitive form of this. I suppose as a community gift I could do a full overhaul., and possibly another script allowing random items to be picked up and used. When I get to my old FPSC comp I'll post the primitive to tide you over until the good version is released.

I'm the exception to every rule, that rule withstanding

Hmm this seems very possible with Fenix Mod. Maybe I'll venture out and try to get this working, as well.
