Story:

Humans finally reached their ultimate goal - space.
A base was built on the Martian surface for research.
Scientists believed that the ultimate power is hidden in the core.
They drilled down directly to the center of Mars.
The drill stopped. It seemed it jammed into a very thick layer of rock.
A team of workers was sent down the hole to unjam the drill.
They never came back.
Noone knew what happened to them.
As you think about what happened to them,an earthquake hits.
The thoughts in your head won't let go.
You want to go down there and see what is going on.

Background:

A Doom inspired game with a touch of retro games. Simple level design,werid creatures and bunch of sci-fi weaponry. The whole game will get a big touch on details and good lighting. Most of the entities will be from stock and Cosmic Prophet to have a constant level of quality.

looks pretty nice. Keep it up. Is that closet in hte first screenie dynamic? If so, does it have to?

Thanks. Yes,Its dynamic because its openable,but I'll probably get rid of it as its no longer in use.

In the fourth screen,I would suggest you put a small almost white light in front of the blue lightsource to make it more realistic .

For that guy in the last screen,some hints: no arms,lobotomy animations.

Zay: Yeah,the lights need some tweaking in some areas.

Everyone,thanks for comments. Heres a sneak peek at the pistol for the game. Its a cool sci-fi blaster with a laser sight.

The level design looks good, but lighting looks kind of random, especially the red and blue just next to each other in the second one. I also think the story is just too generic along with the title. So I would advise fixing those and then you're golden

Space Disaster does sound better, much less generic but keeping the classic Sci-Fi feel. Latest screen looks great

Thanks guys. If anyone thinks if they could add or remove something from the pictures,tell me and I'll try and see how it looks.

I also have a problem. Metro Theater shaders don't seem to work on the stock entities. I made the shadermaps,applied the shader,cleaned the DBO and BIN files but they don't appear to have shaders. Anyone knows how to fix it? Metro Theater entities work fine in the level.

Thanks. I finished level 3,now here comes level 4. It shows the outside working area. The nearer you get to the dig,the more bloody and messy it gets.

Two new screenshots of the level. One shows the Colonel X zombie with Mob Zombie animations. At the end of the level,the elevator takes you deep down into the dig. The 3rd and 4th levels are a bit short,but the finale will take care of that

Thank you. Here are two final snapshots of level 5,level 6 is the final boss fight so there will be no screenies. Expect the game release by the end of the week.

Appears truly nice overall.

I would recommend changing the fact that floor and ceiling of your cave environment have the same texture.

I'm feeling a nice system shock flair to this game. Keep it up! I really like the pistol. However, remember that eve classic sci-fi mixed up what we consider generic with precise details about names of people, aliens, equipment, etc. And, heres a new suggested title:
