Dark GDK / getting a point in 3D space

how to do that?
with the mouse , XYZ ?
however i mean 3D space as World and not induvidual Objects
so if i have a map ready for me , how do i get a point using the mouse while not counting on objects but the 3D space as a whole.

No, I don't think so - mouse scroll wheel shouldn't have any impact (if I'm understanding the question correctly).

However, the following link to gamedev.net does have what he's looking for (i believe).
