I caught the back end of a TV show, and in the credits they showed a paint program that you could paint scenes in levels

It showed painted grass, then they painted cobble stone path way, then a river. it looked like they drew shapes (rectangle, or whatever) and the selected the texture.

I think this would be a great program for making detailed textures for games. The program was a graphic art show, but I cant remember the name of the program. Any help would be appreciated.

Could possibly be ZBrush, that's one of the main uses for the program.

Don't suppose you could describe to us what the interface looked like?

ya

the left side was about 1/6th the side of the screen with icons, tools, etc.

the top 1/4 of the screen was what looked like textures, and some more tools.

the rest was the work area.

I cant remember really more then that. Just the image in my head. The paiting of textures was like I said before almost painting a shape then then it was filled in. and looked like it painted in layers.

Nah, Fireworks has a completely different interface, it doesn't have anything at the top of the screen except the standard toolbar and everything else is around the sides and bottom. So I don't think it's it.

Actually I just DL Neo paint, and it could very well be it. Just move around the windows and buttons.

Nice paint tool.

Yeah, that's why I use NeoPaint also. Cheap and very easy to use. I didn't think it would've been that though because I didn't think NeoPaint used textures and quite frankly, in the 5 or so years I've been using it, I never once saw any textures lol.
