Anyone have or know of a program that takes bmps/pngs/etc and you can select the number of slices etc.

basically I have a

4096 pixels wide by 512 long rendered photo I want to cut it into 512x512x8 peices.

If its not seamless it will look funny, thats why I want a program to do it.

Or is there some way to do this in Texture Maker

Most graphics packages have a slice tool these days. You set your slices, probably putting guides in place first to get them exact, and the program will export x number of images for you.

Fireworks and Photoplus do this for definite.

Set the grid in an art package to 512*512, then make a selection, then cut the selection, paste as new image.
