I made this terrain demo in dark gdk, and it works fine when I run it from the editor. But whenever I try to run it from the executable, it has a black screen, then a messagebox that says "6" pops up, then it exits. Help??><!!

you need the media ( images in this case ) in the same directory as the executable

I've tried both. I also tried running the exe from both folders, but it still messes up.

its not that, i use 1 million on camera range. texture.jpg, detai.jpg and map.bmp must be on the same folder as the executable. but if it persists try that... if the black window apears it means it is initializing correctly, so it is either not loading your media correctly, or you are doing something wrong on the compiler. to run the game on the compiler, you have your media alongside your .cpp files, to run it from the executable you must have another copy of the media or copy the executable to where your media is. are you running the correct executable? lol who knows!

It used to have that glitch when I ran it in the compiler, but then I copied it into a new file and it worked...
