Sorry if this in the wrong place.

Simple script. 15 second bomb and a 30 second bomb.
Make it to the trigger tile with the _____ script before the timer runs out or (everything fades out to white) and after about 3 more seconds, you die.

Thanks

Why not just combine some existing scripts..

Look through the script bank, find scripts that would do each of your requests, then combine them. Not finding exactly what you need? look though the DBPro section > code snippets. I am sure you could find something there.

That's Dark Basic Pro. Not FPI. That wouldn't work at all.

There also probably won't be any scripts that come with it he can use.

But I still think you should just learn to script, honestly.

Strange, I don't seem to see a single ''please'' in his request, its more like a command.

Looks like a simple script, just make a timer activated HUD.

I would try learn to script, but I just spent a hell load of money on FPSC, and i'm not going to bother buying the program to script for a loooooong time.

50 dollars= hell load of money?

w/e

most game companies spend 300,000$ on an engine so that they can script for a LOOOOOONG time. if you want to make a good game, you've got to be able to devote time to it.

also, if you're not willing to devote a long tie to making you a script, what makes you think we will be?

It sort of sounds like you bought a car, and are now trying to find a shofer to drive you around everywhere. I would suggest that you learn how to drive for yourself, and then come here if you're having trouble with something and need help. (Analogy aside, check here).

You're not only going to need to script for a "looooooong time " to make a decent game; you're going to need to invest several hours into game concepts, storylines, level design, lighting, sounds, HUDS/2D work, etc, etc. You get what you put in.

It's not even 50; the FPSC Bonanza is apparently still going strong!

just because it may not be for you, it may not be the case with others. I'm not sure how many British pounds that would be put if it's over £30 (whcih it is) it is also a lot to me...
