I recently came back to tinker in Darkbasic pro after a long break, and I noticed that the Game creators has really redone their site.
It looks good, but I was looking for the code snippets/CODEBASE part, the section of the site with all those lovely user posted code bits had had a link on the right hand side of the main page.
Anyone know what I'm talking about, or if it's still there?

Looks like it's gone. You can choose it in the "My Threads" drop down, but the page no longer exists.

I'd be interested to hear WHY they took it down.

Probably because it got too bloated with useless crap. There were some good snippets, but 80% of it was nonsense.

I'd Still like to get my hands on a couple of those Snippets, some were very good.
I think they just haven't re-linked that HTML page yet to the database, I guess All I can do is hope.
Any way of contacting The Game Creators about this?

I'm not talking about the Forums code snippets, There was a area on the main Game Creators webpage next to tutorials, that was nothing but stand alone code, and examples.
Some of them were amazing, and I can't find any of the CODEBASE entry's on the forums' code snippets page

I hope they bring them back, that`s why it`s codebase so you do not need to save the snippet somewhere while you know that there is a copy on the TGC servers.But someone may want to make a backup to some nice snippet which he didn`t have time to.

Where there is a will, there is a way.
