I'm not smoothing the model! The reason is with the head, dont ask why (I dont know myself) but whenever I smooth the head, it explodes into 30 shurukien shaped objects :S

I've gotta fix the head, so when I do, and I can get a proper render, I'll post another pic. I assume thats what you mean by smoothed and shaded.

I know what it is, and like I said, i need to fix the head. Whenever I view it in smooth shaded mode, its black, rgb(0,0,0), etc. No texture or anything. Thats the power of Wings3ds importer, completely screws up any model imported.

NWC:Maybe didn't you undertsand the Winged Edge Data Sturcture's only limitation.You cannot import or create a model that's not completely closed...Kinda like bsp.

that doesn't mean you can't do a torus or a hollow cube,just that all edges need to be connected to another edge.
