I don't think that c+c on screenshot after screenshot will really help you. After all its not a webcomic you want to produce but a game.

And I have seen too much screenshot threads where it turned out, that the bad, baad, baaad FPSC engine horribly* crashed each time when it came to actually building the game.


*including wrecking the PC, destroying all game related files and forcing the developer to start from scratch...

...I know i hate it...I know that many people are doing the same thing and then the game is never being released but i know i will release it only after 1.17 update...and the dangers of crashes and errors i will be making the game untyl 1.17 and will be releasing demos...But i will build the whole game in a year or so...I am not in a hurry...

Are you still having build problems? if so try this very long method of finding it.

"Diagnosing build game errors can be a pain. Have you tried something simple like making a small room with only the player start marker and building that? If that works, then add the entities you are trying to use 1 at a time and build again and again. If a segment only build crashes, try a different segment to make sure that is not the problem. There might be a quicker way to find the problem, but this one is fool proof."

My buddy that uses unreal sent me this when I first started making my own models and they would crash my games.

I also got burnt loosing files do to crashes (all programs not just fps creator). I bought a 500 gig external hard drive which are a lot cheaper now, and every Saturday at 3 am my computer turns itself on and backs itself up to it. It's a western digital and came with the software to do that.

The game looks amazing nikas, I think it may just have a chance. You are going to want it to run on something higher than 15-20 FPS though.

Besically without bloom it runs 25-30

I played the demo twice and here is my review.

The Good:
- size
The area is large, larger than usually in a demo and due to the different height levels it feels even larger.
- level design
The sourroundings definitely look unique and everything fits together. also the skybox did fit nicely.

The Bad:
- enemies
Us usual in any non-spaceship environment the enemies get stuck when touching ANYthing and can safely be shot (maybe give them bows)
- collision
the prince gets stuck several times - in the middle of the bridge p.e. (but "C" can handle this easily) and has a hard time going up some of the stairs.

The Ugly.
- a gun????
The "Dark Warrior Prince" firing a gun was definitely killing the spirit. And don't tell me it's a spell. If it feels like a gun for the player, than it is a damn gun.
- 3rd person
why a 2nd rate 3rd person view with zero animation on the player character when we have a working 1st view?
- no shaders?
as to be expected the game looks nothing as nice as the first screens promised.

I'll give this a 3/5 on my personal demo-scale and call it "an ambitious project.

And I would strongly recommend to switch back to 1st person view and use EAIs spell kit.

Hey the 3rd person view is still on development the script for the 3rd person is very strange and tough he will have a sword and melle animations after i finish the script i putted a gun so that you can kill the enemies somehow...It will finally have all the good 3d person animations and reactions it is just very new and must be developed....It is a W.I.P after all

That stuck glitchs happens sometimes to mee in first person. So it isn't only 3rd person.

Yes i know...Maybe i will make it smitchable but i will never make it 1person..I dont know why i am stuck to 3rd person

Also the 3rd person looks much more unique, allthough the character gets stuck on the walls, but it can probably be fixed somehow.. Keep it up!
