Hey guys!
I just finished my first Segment Pack, of course, it is free.

It consists of four SciFi Segments, in different colours. If someone could upload a pic of it in-game, that would be great, as I don't have any programs like fraps etc.

Important Instructions:
Create a new folder in you segment folder, naming it "JaredxD
Extract the files into that folder(FPS Creator>Files>Segments>JaredxD)

License:
CAN:
Be used commercially/privately.

CAN'T:
Be sold to any other individual, without my permission.
Be used in anyone elses pack, without my permission.

Please report if it doesn't work, or if there is any bugs.

Enjoy!!!

You cant ask for feedback in just 2 hs. in other forum, you would get a "Quick" response in about 1 day and a half....
this is the quickes "Feedbacker" forum in the universe! When do we go out in the World Records 2011!?

just joking, They look "Useable"...maybe..try doing something like more grunge, metal vents...kinda stuff that you would see in a grunge flying trough universe stuff..

I downloaded to test out. They are coming in white in the editor. I've checked the BlueScifi.fps, and notice the following as an example:

texture1 = texturebank\Firma\Room Textures\BlueScifi_IN_D2.TGA

Anything that points to the textures you have in the fps files, I do not have, which causes the segment to be white. Same with the rest of them.

You may need to include the texturebank\Firma\Room Textures\<your tga files> for your segments. This will solve the issue.

There isn't any tga files in that folder... Only .DDS. Do i just edit the texture 1 thing from <filename>.TGA to <filename>.dds?

If you have .tga written,FPS Creator reads them as .dds also.

What you can do is put your .tga or .dds in the same folder as the rest of the files. Then all that has to be done is to edit the fps file to just name the filename of the texture. For example:

texture1 = texturebank\Firma\Room Textures\BlueScifi_IN_D2.TGA

would then become

texture1 = BlueScifi_IN_D2.TGA

So all the textures- just place in the archive with the rest of the files, and edit the fps files to reflect the texture file location. That will fix the "white" texture of the segment, because some of us don't have the textures you are using for them. I can edit the texture lines myself and point them to any texture I have, as long as the file exists. If the file does not exist, then the segment is white.

All of them that the fps points to. Like I said earlier, just put the textures in the archive, then edit the 4 fps files and you are done.

JaredxD

You need to add a path to the dds files in the fps script. I put the folder in my segments\user folder. Here are the changes I made to the script.

This will be relative to where the files are.

Nice seg,
Brian
