Yeh, to be honest, although this is technically a work in progress, you might want to show more than 8 angles of 1 damaged house model...

Uhu, 8 Angles from 1 Building are not what we'ved hope for, anyway i see you can have High Resolution Textures.
The at might promise something (getting the best out of it )

OK, first off it is not all the same building! There are like 3 or 4 buildings shown in the screen shots. Again, its a work in progress.

@ColtFang- what is your specialty, can you do textures, model, script? We need a script writer or texture artist currently.

Oh look! It's... empty houses with no lighting!... that's truly something!

Sorry. Too much AVGN and NC I quess... BUt seriously. The models look nice, but everything else not so nice. Lighitng and other than empty buildings would be nice.

Retexturing stock models is definitely not enough.

And I seriously doubt that anyone would model several characters for a single project. Especially if the models need to be historically accurate.

So to be honest I seriously doubt that this thread will end in a "Stalingrad" game that earns the name.

Don't jump to conclusions. You never know how good the texture would turn out!

Depending on the modeller, they could get the work done in a week or two.

Don't be so pessimistic about this project, only a few screenies are out so far.

@The Storyteller 01, You always seem to be so negative towards everyone, and always comment saying that they will never finish their games. Why are you so negative? Look at the bright side, at least someone is trying, right?

@darimc

Check out my demo reviews.

I comment everything I play and so far far I haven't given anything below 3/5. Some of my recent demo reviews where overwhelming positive.

But its true, I have seen too many multi-page threads where people where announcing professional quality and breathtaking features that ended up in something like: "Every time I try to build the demo game the stupid engine crashes. Sorry, but I have to give up my project"

I see where you're coming from, but what are you trying to say with this statement?

Build errors can be completely beyond our control. It's nothing to get annoyed at the creator over - think of how THEY feel. I have tried several times to make games (none were posted on the forum) only to have months of work ruined by build errors which just can't seem to be fixed. Trust me, it's not pleasant. Yet, why should anyone scrap their ambitious ideas? If we all made safe games with basic gameplay mechanics and no new features, FPSC wouldn't move forward.

And why are we even talking about build errors? This thread isn't multipage, no breath-taking features have been announced and the creator has said himself: It's just a game. It's not a requirement that every aspect is 100% historically accurate because the creator has said nothing about commercial release. Retextured stock soldiers would probably do just fine.

Personally, I'd like more screens before we judge the quality of this game.
