Not bad.

I've been hearing a lot of talk about an ED demo, are you allowed to tell the public anything?

Well, the only hold up is the Deen Model texture and animations. We cant do anything more without them. With them we need to work out specifications etc. and we have done everything we can coding wise until we get that texture and animations.

I will continue to produce media, and when the work on Deen is finished we will be able to code the last bits.

Very nice, i could consider living there. Just one thing, i think the textures are a bit to clean. why not add some dirt and green fungus on the walls, especialy the lower parts. Would make it look even cooler i think, if its not a very young city.
Other that that is great!

Emotions..intressting..to many or to few?

My questions: where did you get these textures and are they free? Or do you (or your team) make them yourself? They look great and I would like to get my hands on textures like that and try to create simular buildings in my own editor.

Usually I find a picture of an object, then get part of it and make a texture out of it. I usually end up editing it quite a bit, its hard to find something just right on the web, free of royalties that you can use.

Well, those textures look great! Any chance you might be willing to share some of them with us?

Looking cool!

Grabbing wood textures should'nt be too much of a problem guys, come on - scan a damn Ikea catalogue!. I have code that can take a texture from a weird angled photograph and make it flat 2D if anyone thinks it'd help them.

Haha, too bad, but I just had to ask. I mean, hey, I'm a programmer, no artist. Van B, do you have a standalone executable that does just that?

Hmmmm, unfortunately it's a pretty rough piece of code, no file commands, it just loads - you move the nodes to suit, then you grab the screen and paste it in your art package. I'll see what I can do with it tonight.
