Well I just started scripting and it is still very confusing to me so I created a jump off script. FPI Edit program thing said it was fine. So I tested it and it doesnt work... Here it is and could you please tell me whats wrong with it. I have fenix mod Version 1.1!! and it has a jump off add-on.

Looks like you are using ";" which is used for commenting. You need to use :.

I think that's how it should be.

Your signature has been erased by a mod - please reduce to no larger than 600 x 120 please

Hey higgins, how are things going. Haven't seen you around for awhile. Of course, I haven't been around very much lately.

Yup, the semi-colon shouldn't be there if you want the line to work. FPI EditPad will consider this correct because it is correct -- of course only if you were wanting to comment the line out.

Addendum:

However, the syntax is still wrong. First I'm not sure where you are getting the command jumpoff.

Here is how the syntax should be for this.

However, you will get an error saying that jumpoff is an invalid command. Unless you are using a mod that has this command. If you are using a mod that has this command then you are going to have to add all the new commands so that they will be accepted by the autocheck.

One more thing. If you do have FPI EditPad then click on help/content and then the link Overview of FPI Scripting. This will give you feel for how this scripting language works.

If you have VISTA then you will need a special fix from MS so that it will display the old style help files. If you have W7 it will work without the fix.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post.

Thank you so much. Originally I put the : but it wouldn't let me do anything because it said I had to put the ;. Thanks and I have VISTA btw.
