What is a DLL file? What is it for? How does it works?

Do us all a favour, do your own research before asking things:

For DBPro they have to be structured right. They go into the plugins-user or plugins-licensed folder and you can access their stored commands by typing their function names. If you've used a plugin then you have used a dll.

Go ahead. Walk into Mordor.

If you've used DBP you've used DLL's . All DBP commands are wrapped in DLL's in the Compiler>Plugins folder. When you use a command of any DLL that is in one of those plugins folders, that specific DLL will be included in the final executable. This means that if you use only 1 3D command, the whole DBProBasic3DDebug.dll will be included in the executable (causing an increase in file size of course).

Cheers!
