I made a puppet script, but not a third person because of the way the plrmoveto=x places you at the target.
If only we had a plrmovetoback=x action, then we could use the player as a camera behind a model for the 3rd person effect.
The problem then is to script all the enemies to do damage to the puppet, which could easily be done with one script for the model that uses plrhealth to set its health.
Another problem with stock FPSC for 3rd person is the way the puppet would need to rotate for aiming when the player looks around.
Modifying the engine is the only way to get a decent third person view using an engine that is designed for first person perspective.
There are MODs (MODified versions of FPSC) that have the third person perspective so try a search for the MODs.
