I haven't been using the FPSC for a long time, but I'm finally getting back into it. I had made some custom content a while back with animations, and I was going to FPSC ready it again, but it is not working properly.

I have the .x file which has been exported with animation (300 frames) and a speed set of 25 fps. I moved the .x file and texture to the user folder, but as soon as I run the "make entities from x files" program, I get an error which reads "Could not load 3D object at line 49." I am not sure what the problem is, because I can make entities from other non-animated models I have made with the same program.

I am using Blender 2.49b to create and export the models. I know Blender and .x files don't seem to get along, but I have never had a problem like this when using the program in the past.

Can anyone be of any assistance?

Can nobody help me with this problem? I'd really like to get that tank turret moving like it does in Blender.

Either you don't understand the problem or I can't understand your answer due to your lack of any grammar. The model is animated, the .x file was exported with the animations, but if I try to make it into an FPSC entity with entity maker, the program crashes instantly. I tried to make it manually without using entity maker and simply creating my own FPE file with the FPI EditPad, but if I try to load the new entity, it crashes FPS Creator.

I have tried this with several animated models, and got the same results with each. I have tried making non-animated entities with the entity maker, and those all, for the most part.

Why won't my animated models go through?

Before anyone suggests it, I already have the "fixed" Blender .x exporter pluggin.

K sorry let me use better I was in a rush.

Entity maker was not made to hold animations you need to create your own scripts in order to get it to work entity work shop is for more simpler models WITHOUT animations.

Is that better grammar? Haha sorry about it sometimes i type to fast

First off, download the directx SDK from microsoft, and open your animated model with the included directx viewer to see if there are any problems with it.

If it all looks ok in the SDK viewer, then it should be fine in FPSC. For animated models, I suggest creating the FPE by hand in notepad. Take a look at some of the stock animated models to see how they are set up in the FPE file.
