I have made a model in blender which uses multiple textures (a tank with a tex for the chasis and another for the tracks) I loaded these textures into 2 materials on blender, then exported as a 3DS.
When I LOAD OBJECT in dbpro i only see one texture

I know i could map it to one texture file using UV mapper but its kinda tricky.
Does DBPro allow models with more than one texture file associated with them?

Yes it does, but I'm pretty sure that the 3DS format itself doesn't support multiple textures.

Export as .x instead.

there is another option, it's a bit more "around the houses"

I find that when i export a file to .X (from 3ds max) that it tends to be mirrored and rotated 90 degrees on it's Z axis

so what i do, i export it as a 3DS object then i use a program called Deep Exploration, it allows you to alter/re-apply the textures and then save it as almost any 3d file you can imagine

Windows 7 64 bit, AMD Phenom II x4 Black edition, 4 GB Ram, Radeon HD 4650, 540 GB HDD

I can see from your smile, you're not here for the sunset.

Thats cools lads thanks
I should have looked more at the 3d topic first I guess. Kiras .x plugin is the one for me I reckon.
Just a little question tho...Does .X support skeleton animation and can you still manipulate limbs etc?
