How do I display a title screen while the program is loading data files? Looking at a black screen is boring. The title screen is created using an image file. This forum needs a better searching function.

this should work

you load the image, paste to the screen, then sync it, you now see your image, now continue with loading other bits of your code.

There can however be some commands that cause the image to disappear from the screen again, according to how you set it up. If that happens, you should use a sprite, because they always stay no matter what:

Also if you have the STYX addon that has splash screen and loading bar commands that you can utilize.
