I find it ironic that you held a cricket bat as your weapon in the video.

Great work, it looks superb!

Thanks guys

I was trying to think of a typically English weapon and cricket bat came to mind. So slapped one into EAI's hands and gave them a pinstripe suit for good measure ^_^

Just checked your content amount and it was like
Only crit what I have is your bloody segments. They look just like painted with brush. Here is blood brushes for you if you are using PS http://www.brusheezy.com/Brushes/1290-13-blood-and-splatter-brushes

That contact sheet is old and there is maybe twice as much again as that.

I had to have a double take reading your reply above
Quote: "Only crit what I have is your bloody segments."

I thought "wow his really unhappy" lol, but no the bloody segments are not painted on in the actual segments only on the icons, as I was too lazy to take a snapshot of everything and just painted red blobs onto the woodwall icons and saved as blood ones

Looking even better I can't wait for this. It's begging for a Shaun of the Dead remake. If you want to take this to an even higher level, you should make some normal and specular maps for your segment textures and apply bond1s normal mapping shader. You can do the same for the entities too (the buses would look even more awesome with normal mapping).

Will you be making any civilian/pedestrians which can casually walk around, or some people to add to the buses and train?

Also, was I the only one to notice EAI's and Bond1's names on the taxi number plates?

EDIT: Just saw the Trotter's Independant Traders car...brilliant

So this pack is now officially a model pack.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Yups went official today

Thanks Anayar and Marc - money money money ^_^ LOL

@Marc: Yeah mate Bond1 and EAI appear all over the place, so keep your eyes peeled :p
Sorry about the lack of normal mapping etc, but I really did not feel right selling something that would then use a shader given away free by bond1. Even if not actually included in the pack I would still be making money off a free forum contribution and that does not sit right with me
I also did not have v1.17 installed to test with those shaders, as I wanted to complete the model pack. I was a little worried about using a beta after my experiences with 1.16 betas.

(I'm also of course a poop modeller and texture maker, but the above reason still stands ^_^ )

As to people, I wanted to make things like Big Issue sellers etc (so I could shoot them :p ), but 1) I'm a poop modeller and 2) not sure it would go down well.

Maybe for an expansion pack or something later?

Just thought I'd say this is one of the best, most comprehensive packs available. The number of segments and entities is mind boggling.

@ Cosmic: Thanks bro you flatter me
@ Xplosys: Thanks Brian

@ all purchasers of the london pack:

There is an error in the pack (not big but still and error)
While packing up the pack, I forgot to edit 6 .fpe files with the updated mesh names of the buses in the Complete Buses folder.
I forgot I had added _All at the end of the complete mesh versions

I have attached the updated .fpe files here and will notify TGC of the oversight ASAP.

Please accept my deepest apologies for this

There is no upstairs, well just a dummy one so it looks ok from outside and looking down from buildings etc, sorry

I wanted to keep the poly count down (they are already over 4k) as much as possible, so I removed the top floor and placed an invisible wall across the top of the stairs.

If I get a chance I may remodel the upstairs and release an update for the double deckers.

Personally I wouldn't care going upstairs as DD buses (we had them in Austria too when I was a child) are cramped and low-ceiling upstairs. To move there or even fight is not an option I would deliberately consider for a game.

PS: I toyed around with the London MP yesterday for an hour and the building fronts are SO usefull for creating map borders. The buildings as a whole also fit well with Cosmics city pack and the buildings from the War Torn/Urban Model Packs IMO.

Thumbs up!

Thanks Decneo

I don't know how good I could make a New York pack, as it is always hard to get the feel right if you have never been there, even with reference pics etc. I think an American, or better still a new Yorker would make a far better job to be honest.

Your London pack isn't perfect for NYC but it would make a nice San Francisco or Boston

Oh silly me I forgot about your x10 disc dilemma - he he
Your like my little nephew, he places his disc's in the closest case he can find, or more times than not just slaps them on the desk in a pile of uncased discs and blames his mum for their loss etc :p

Will look forward to the screenshots

It's been released, it's model pack 46

Looks great, but is cheaper than the other packs which is odd because it has more quaninty and quality.

I think you should expand on the pack Nbt.......... make additional mini packs to go with this excellent pack.

London Park areas, London Soho areas, London City areas, river thames/embankment areas with london eye and boats etc

I think you may have started something hahahahahahahahaha
great pack!!!!

I'm still waiting for a reply regarding my application for store seller account, but can't seem to get any update on the progress as of yet. So if I ever get it sorted I may upload some addon's for the pack in the store.

It can take some time for your store account to be set up, I wouldn't worry about it as your work is way above required quality. You should shoot Janet an e-mail if it takes too much longer.
