How do you apply normal maps and shaders to entitys i understand how to do it for segments but not entitys please explain

Same way. Just make normal map and then apply normal mapped shader to your model and set right patch.

ive tryed taht but it comes out as a black square and thats without the shader

must be also _S.dds or _I.dds depends on shader and try with static lights on the map around this entity. Shader must be apllied in fpe file
