I have tried searching on this, but to no avail.

Is there a script that allows me to show a picture in game that pops up inside a zone, that allows me to be rid of the picture forever by pressing Enter?

I personally cannot script all the way through, but can understand certain aspects. Sorry if this a problem.

Here you go but you seriously should take some time to learn scripting. But in the script you need to put your HUD directory in the (Place your HUD directory here spot) otherwise it wont work. And name your HUD yourHUD and it will work perfectly.

Thank you very much. I don't quite understand all the seemingly random numbers as much as I do C#. I've been trying to learn though.

The numbers are no more random than placing numbers into C# functions.

Each line of a script if no different than an "if block" in any other programming language.

First colon in a script line is the "if", the commands that follow that colon are the condition for the "if", the second colon is the "then" (for BASIC users) or the "{" (for C users), and the commands that follow the second colon are the actions to take when the if clause returns TRUE. Seriously... if you can understand programming, you can understand that.

Honestly, I don't understand people who can't get that. It's quite sad actually.

Well perhaps I'm just a bit slow.

Nah, Just kidding but I thank you.

@Plystire - Thanks for the quick tutorial. It actually helped a bit.

@Shadowtroid - It's just like learning to talk. Some of us get it quick, some of us never learn.

That was a little uncalled for really

Your signature has been erased by a mod. The sig needs to be 600 width maximum (x 120 height) for all of it.

I mean, it's simple. Not being able to memorize commands I understand, but not getting the syntax doesn't make sense.

Not knowing how to get the syntax to work for you is acceptable, but I mean it's an if then statement. Its just that easy.

You do have to remember, not everyone is a coder and fpsc script is a strange beast the 1st time you see it. It was for me anyway, but thanks to reading Plystire topics and nickydude's fpsc guide I got the idea.

One great tool for learning fpsc script is that x-plain app, as you can then see how the existing scripts work to a great extent.
