I was wondering if you could use bond1's normal mapping shader on entities??
I have a metal crate which I would like to use it on, but it doesn't seem to look any different than the box with no shader on it...

I also had another question about overlays...
What kind of shader should i use on a blood overlay to make it look less cartoony and more realistic?

Thanks for any replies...

Cheers,
Anayar

Not sure how Bond1's shader will react to entities, as it was made for segments as far as I remember.

As to decals, don't set them as dynamic (use static) and use full light mapping I would say.

Your signature has been erased by a mod. The sig needs to be 600 width maximum (x 120 height) for all of it.

The shader was really tailor made for segments that use lightmapping.

IF you need a good normal mapping shader for entities there are several different ones in the Metro Theater model pack that have varying levels of glossiness.

@Bond: i found out if you modify the ps3.0 shader, and you setup it correctly for the entity, it will work, i did a test with a sci fi console and it worked very nicly. Course, depending where a light was in the level, the top would not light, odd quirk i guess

You will not be sorry, it's the best model pack ever (in my honest opinion)
