Project Green does not have certain features of Project Blue. These include:
- Dual Wielding
- HUD manipulation commands
- Some player customizing commands (such as speed)
- Full screen shaders
To be honest, even though I wrote Project Green, I couldn't tell you if the commands needed for 3rd person and vehicles are still there.
I am going to say one thing, though. Vehicles are NOT a viable feature in FPSC yet. Many factors prevent them from being a good feature. Limited space, low framerate in outdoor areas, and collision are just a few setbacks to vehicles. Thus far, I have not seen a vehicle (scooters are not vehicles in my book
) run well at all in FPSC.
Fenix Mod (which is free as well) has a decent 3rd person feature hardcoded into it, so if you're wanting to get 3rd person going with as little work as possible, I would give that a try.
Here is how you install a Mod:
The Mod will come with a "FPSC-Game.exe" file. This will REPLACE your current "FPSC-Game.exe" file that is in the FPS Creator folder. Rename your original EXE to a different name BEFORE installing the Mod files (rename it to something easy to recognize such as "FPSC-Game_original.exe"). Once that's out of the way, go ahead and move the FPSC-Game.exe file into your FPS Creator folder. Some Mods require other files to be moved into your FPS Creator folder as well, while otehr files need to go into sub folders. Most Mods (good Mods) have these files already organized intot heir appropriate subfolders so tha tyou can just move everything intot he FPS Creator folder and merge sub-folders together to ensure the files are where they're supposed to be.
That's about it. The only file really required for a Mod is the FPSC-Game.exe file. Other Mods that have altered the map editor in some way will also require you to replace the Editor EXE as well. Follow the same method as above for replacing it (and renaming), but PB does not alter the map Editor nor does Fenix Mod (as far as I can recall).
Hope that helps.
