Name: Velocity

Developer: Zealot Studios

Story: Enter the exhilirating and thrilling world of Velocity. Combine stealth, martial arts and gunplay to outwit your enemies, and leap from building to building in a freerunning adventure like never before.

In the not-so distant future, a devestating nuclear apocalypse has reduced the Earth to rubble. The streets are littered with corpses. Every structure is crumbling. And the whole ground is covered in radiation, as far as the eye can see. And as the last survivor, Callum Archer, you must rely on the rooftops just to stay alive.

But when you finally get up there, you realize that you are not alone after all...

It's Fallout meets Mirrors Edge in a heart-pounding experience never seen before.

MIRRORS EDGE FTW. I support this game fully, but I would like to see the level design get a little more attention payed to it.

@ bman332211- Thanks for your comment

@ Bugsy- That wasn't really level design, it was just the basis for a cutscene, but I will be releasing gameplay shots soon.

Actually, I was about to upload the first gameplay shot and I stumbled across syko games' post.

Here it is.

Its in a section of the prologue where the apocalypse hasn't happened yet, and you basically have to run a few errands before you actually get to freerun.

Enjoy!
Any comments- positive or negative- appreciated.

The idea is good but the screens don't fill me with much confidence. You've picked an extremely uninteresting shot to show us. With so few entities present, it might as well have just been a shot of a wall. Let's see some properly detailed screens that show us what you're game is about - free running, right? Then your level design will have to be top notch.

@ Butt monkey- I still have two more levels to do in the prologue, which, as I've said before, does not include any freerunning. Once I have them finished, I will upload lots more screens of the actual freerunning.

Yup, I understand that, but is that any excuse to make the prologue levels any less interesting or exciting than the free running ones?

I'm still trying to make them as exciting as possible, that room just happened to be a bit empty. But anyway, I am starting to make the freerunning missions now, so new screenshots will be coming very soon.
